Whitefish Spirits wanted their essence to shine through in their canned cocktail line. The challenge was crafting packaging that felt just as at home on a rushing river as it did on a quiet deck at sunset.

Approach

I recognized the need to capture the essence of Montana – its rugged beauty and spirit of adventure – and translate it into a sophisticated yet approachable visual language. I designed packaging that felt authentic, inviting, and undeniably Montana, incorporating topographic maps of the area around their distillery and illustrating the ideal serving suggestions – the perfect glass, garnishes, and even ice – to elevate the brand and invite consumers to experience the spirit of the outdoors.
